Return/Exchange

Return Policy

You may drop a course for a full refund within the first three classes of the term. A $50 processing fee will apply.

Exchange Policy

You may switch courses within the first three classes of the term. If there is a price difference between the full price of the courses, we will settle the difference as part of the exchange.

Returns may be initiated through the Return Request page.

Class Policy

Weekly Homework Policy

  1. While it cannot be strictly enforced, students should avoid using calculators or graphing software for homework problems unless specifically indicated.
  2. Collaboration is encouraged, but students should not copy each other’s homework. Discussing problems with peers is allowed.
  3. Late homework will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  4. Students are encouraged to attend the Homework/Quiz Takeup class on Monday evening.

Weekly Quiz Policy

  1. Similar to homework, students should refrain from using calculators or graphing software unless indicated in the problem.
  2. Quizzes should be completed individually.
  3. Late quizzes will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  4. Students are strongly encouraged to attend Homework/Quiz Takeup classes (included in MC/ME classes), even if the student can solve all of the questions without help. The Homework class highlights insights, tips, and techniques for solving the homework/quiz questions.

In-Class Policy

  1. Students must be respectful to their instructor and other students. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated.
  2. Parents may sit in during the class with their child if it helps them stay focused.

Video Recordings

  1. The class video will be posted on the night of the last section of the class. For example, if MC 40 has one section on Wednesday and another on Thursday, the video will be posted on Thursday night.
  2. The homework class video will be posted on the night of the homework class.
  3. Recordings will remain available until the end of the term and will be deleted thereafter.

Pricing Policy

Early Bird/Discounts

  1. Early bird discount is 5% off all courses. Early bird pricing will be automatically applied during the discount period. Additional discount codes may be used in conjunction with early bird pricing.
  2. All discount codes must be applied at the time of purchase.
  3. Only one discount code may be applied per purchase.

Family Members in the Same Class

The second family member enrolled in the same course during the same term will receive a 50% discount. Please email info@leadingaces.com if this applies to you.

Repeated Courses

Students who wish to repeat a course in the following year will receive a 50% discount. Only one repeat per course is allowed. Please email info@leadingaces.com if this applies to you.

Makeup Class

  1. There are no refunds for missed classes.
  2. Students are encouraged to attend another session or watch the posted video to catch up.

Achievement Discount

Students are eligible for a discount in the following year if they were enrolled at Leading Aces Academy at the time they received the award and represented either their day school, Leading Aces Academy, or a region-named team such as Ontario Math Circles. The discount only applies to a class of the same topic as the contest. Please email the school at info@leadingaces.com if this applies to you, and include a link to the official award page. Note that if you qualify for multiple categories, you can only receive one discount.
The following achievements are eligible:

  • CMO, APMO, USA(J)MO, or CCO Honorable Mention and higher
  • IMO, EGMO, IOI, or EGOI team members
  • MPFG Honorable Mention and higher
  • HMMT November top 50 overall
  • HMMT February top 50 overall
  • ARML Tie Breaker
  • COMC Canadian Champion Overall
  • Euclid or CSMC group 1
